Current Mood: relieved

While it’s not as nice celebrating it here in a hotel room in Santa Ana, I would like to express my delight with the first glimmer of political hope for our nation since I woke up one sad November morning in 2000 to find that Al Gore actually had not won the election.

  1. I love that you referenced 1984. However, I’m not sure it’s time to celebrate yet (even though Measure K got passed..). The sad truth is that there is going to be a lot of damage control ahead of us, and I sincerely doubt either party can put aside their special interests in order to facilitate change. On a lighter note, I did very much enjoy watching Bush tap dance his way through the briefing this morning.
